They develop cutting-edge diagnostic methods that rely on high-quality, reliable cell culture work. They are seeking a motivated <strong>student assistant<\/strong> to help maintain their cell lines and support their experiments, contributing directly to the development of novel diagnostic solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Roles and&nbsp;responsibilities<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this research context, they are looking for a talented student who is pursuing a Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in biology (Biologie), biotechnology (Biotechnologie), biomedical sciences (Biomedizin), molecular medicine (Molekulare Medizin) or a related life sciences discipline to support their&nbsp;research as a student assistant (HiWi).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Typical tasks include:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cultivation and maintenance of various cell lines (thawing, passaging, cryopreservation).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparation of culture media and reagents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assisting with cell-based assays relevant to our diagnostic experiments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Documentation of lab activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Education and experience<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applicants should have<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enrollment at a German university in a relevant field such as biology, biotechnology, biomedicine, molecular medicine, or a related discipline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous laboratory experience in cell culture (e.g., during a Bachelor\u2019s thesis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good laboratory practices (GLP) and a careful, independent work style.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good oral and written communication skills in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">They are also interested in candidates who have<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experience with sterile work under a biosafety cabinet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with basic microscopy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interest in learning additional techniques related to diagnostics and molecular biology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The offer<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work closely with an interdisciplinary and international research team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute directly to innovative diagnostics research with real-world impact.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flexible working hours compatible with your study schedule.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students without a Bachelor\u2019s degree will earn \u20ac15,00 per hour. Students holding a Bachelor\u2019s degree will be paid \u20ac15,61 per hour.
