It developed fundamental methods and algorithms that enable robots and other systems to interact with their environment through feedback, learn autonomously from data, and connect with each other in collaborative networks. A key aspect of the group\u2019s work is translating mathematical and theoretical insights into improved autonomy and performance in real-world physical systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The group was active until April 2021.
