The group focused on tools that collect large amounts of data and learn from it to uncover underlying biological principles. A particular emphasis was placed on creating realistic surgical robot testing and simulation environments using rapid prototyping and augmented reality. Their work was supported by funding from the Vector Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The group was active until April 2023.
