Das Human Aspects of Machine Learning Labor am Max-Planck-Institut für Intelligente Systeme (Standort Tübingen) sucht eine:n Computer-Programmierer:in (m/w/d) als Assistenten/Assistentin. Geeignete Bewerber:innen werden an verschiedenen Forschungsprojekten teilnehmen und Programme für Forschende implementieren.

Eligibility:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Being graduated or will be soon graduating with a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related major.
- Having experience participating in a Computer Science related research project.
- Having experience in delivering a software project.
- Having experience in implementing data science-related projects in python.
- Skilled in written and spoken English.
Tasks:
- Image Data Preprocessing in Python.
- Development and implementation of innovative machine learning solutions with Python using common libraries like NumPy, pandas, NLTK, scikit-learn, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras etc.
- Hypothesis testing with association rule mining and causal inference methods
- Professional data modeling with relational and dimensional data in order to integrate new data sources.
- Design, develop and maintain data products in collaboration with Data Scientists in the team.
- Programming of web user interfaces for data collection projects.
- Programming of web-based dashboards to visualize the results of data analysis.
- Development of unit tests and documentation, as well as testing and maintenance of the software.

You will be a part of a dynamic team of international scientists, engineers, and administrative staff. This position is limited to 12 months.
