Student assistant in administration (m/f/d) for Cyber Valley in the area of content management and editing at the University of Stuttgart

Starting July 1, 2022, Cyber Valley at the University of Stuttgart is seeking a student administrative assistant with approximately 40 hours per month to assist with content management and editing.

- maintain events, jobs and news in our content management systems. (60%)
- proofread texts and translate them if necessary. In doing so, you will pay particular attention to ensuring that our style guides are adhered to. (30%)
- take on research work on issues as needed. (10%)
- are interested in additional tasks, depending on your capacity, interests and previous knowledge. (tbd)
Requirements – You…
- are enrolled as a student at a German university.
- speak, write and understand German and English fluently and can translate between the two languages.
- enjoy working with Microsoft Word and know how to use the proofreading mode.
- know the current spelling rules or know where to look them up.
- are known for your meticulous approach to work and have an eye for detail. you see small errors in text documents immediately.
- may have no previous experience with content management systems, but are willing to acquire the necessary knowledge.
- are not afraid of the telephone and are able to get in touch with many people in a short time for specific research questions.
- are flexible in terms of time, so ideally, we will have you in the team several days a week, but only for a few hours at a time.
