Richard Neher (University of Basel)

Richard Neher’s talk presents how the Nextstrain project has been used for tracking the genome and genetic diversity of the SARS-Cov-2 outbreak. Nextstrain enables us to understand how the virus has spread and mutated across different countries and thus provides a structure for the outbreak. Additionally, Richard describes the COVID-19 Scenarios web application which can be used to predict potential outbreaks in various communities across the world.
