1 April 2022
| Stuttgart and Tübingen
With the Cyber Valley Start-up Incubation Program, we give Cyber Valley scientists the chance to get their own start-up on the way in six weeks.
You don’t need a team, previous experience or a start-up project. All the tools you require for a successful start-up will be provided for you. Together with experienced start-up coaches, you will gain insights into topics such as team building, market analysis, prototyping and pretotyping, business models and start-up pitches. At the end you will get the chance to present your start-up project in front of a top-class jury and you can win valuable prizes.
The incubator is aimed at all scientists in the Cyber Valley ecosystem – and beyond. Ph.D. students of the International Max Planck Research School for Intelligent Systems (IMPRS-IS) will receive 3 credit points upon successful completion of the course.
Procedure & Dates
The incubator is planned as a 6-week program with a full-day on-site workshop once a week (10:00–18:00 CET). The individual dates will alternate between Stuttgart and Tübingen. There will be a shuttle bus for participants from the other location. If the pandemic does not allow an on-site event, the event will be held virtually. The dates of the workshops are:
- Friday, April 1, 2022
- Friday, April 8, 2022
- Friday, April 22, 2022
- Friday, April 29, 2022
- Friday, May 6, 2022
- Friday, May 13, 2022 (Final pitch event)

Ph.D. students also requiere written permission from their supervisor (e.g. via email) to participate in the six appointments.
Only a few seats available. Please send your CV, the motivation letter and the permission from your supervisor to email@example.com.
