Philipp Rothemund is Junior Professor at the Institute for Adaptive Mechanical Systems and head of the "Functional Soft Robotic Matter” research group at the University of Stuttgart. Since 2025, he is also the spokesperson of "die Junge Akademie", the world’s first academy for outstanding young scientists established in 2000.
