Kurzbiographie
Ardian Jusufi is a research group leader at the University of Zurich and an associate at the Institute of Neuroinformatics at UZH and ETH Zurich. A specialist in bioinspired robotics and systems biophysics, he investigates how animals move and use these insights to develop agile robots, soft robotic systems, and biomimetic materials. His research has examined geckos, fish, and other climbing or swimming animals, translating biological mechanisms such as tail-assisted stabilization and adaptive locomotion into robotic design. As the former leader of the Cyber Valley research group Locomotion in Biorobotic and Somatic Systems, and a participant in Cyber Valley Research Fund projects, Jusufi exemplifies the consortium’s integration of robotics, biology, materials science, and embodied intelligence.
