The Bioinspired Autonomous Miniature Robots group, led by Wenqi Hu, focused on developing fabrication and integration methods for components made from various smart materials. Using these methods, the group investigated the design of bioinspired miniature soft machines, ranging from a few millimeters to tens of centimeters in size, with the goal of creating small, untethered robots capable of autonomous operation.
Wenqi Hu is now Assistant Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
