Alexander Badri-Spröwitz is an Associate Professor for Mechanical Engineering at KU Leuven, Belgium. Before that he was working at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems as a Research Group Leader of the Dynamic Locomotion Group (2016–2023), investigating the principles of biomechanics and control of locomotion in legged animals and robots. The group developed and controlled legged robots and simulations, while investigating biomechanics and neurocontrol.
