Christian F. Baumgartner is an Assistant Professor for Health Data Science in the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine at the University of Lucerne, where he is leading the research group for Medical AI. Prior to joining the University of Lucerne, he was an independent research group leader in the Cluster of Excellence – Machine Learning for Science at the University of Tübingen, and part of his group remains in Tübingen.
