The Locomotion in Somatic and Biorobotic Systems group, led by Adrain Jusufi, studied the neuromechanics of locomotion and biorobotics, combining experimental validation with physical models, soft robotics, integrative systems biomechanics, systems biophysics, and biomaterial. Their work focused on understanding and replicating the principles of movement in biological systems and translating them into robotic applications.
The group was active until February 2023. Adrian Jusufi is now Research Group Leader at the University of Zürich.
