What We Will Offer
We provide you with a friendly, but challenging interdisciplinary research environment and support your academic career. You will have the opportunity to work with engineers to develop innovative and useful machine learning frameworks.
What You Will Contribute
You will develop machine learning methods that allow for formalizing background knowledge to be applied in engineering, possibly including knowledge graphs. As part of the position, you will teach and support engineering students learning artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Eligibility
Applicants for the position are required to have an M.Sc. in computer science or in a related field. Knowledge about the theory of and experience with practicing machine learning are required. Competencies related to ODEs/PDEs, Bayesian learning and semantic web tools will be considered an advantage. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an international team are indispensable for the position.

Salary
The salary amounts to German TV-L E 13, which starts at approx. 50,000 Euro income per year (before taxation).
